Events: DIVAS 4 DIVAS 4-3-09

April 3, 2009, my debut as a backstage photographer. Thanks to Cecile Azarcon-Inocentes for the chance of a life time. Also, thanks to Alma Guba for giving my wife's cell phone no. to Cecile.
April 1, I was supposed to be with my wife to see daughter's high school in Napa, Ca, but luckily my I was not feeling well. My wife called me while I was in my throne, and told me that Cecile needs a photograph that night (7:30pm-8:30pm). It was past 5pm, I called Jesse ( he thought I was doing the April Fool's joke). Told him that Cecile needs photographs ASAP. Left the American Canyon around 6pm and arrived at Intramuros Restaurant, Daly City, California at 7:30pm for the Divas' interview and autograph signing. After Intramuros, we went to Ichiban, Daly City for the same function. Shot alot of photos and talked to the Divas and Martin Niviera (very nice person). Before we left the function, Kuh Ledesma told Jesse that she will ask Cecile for 2 backstage pass for us.
April 3, concert day, Pia Pena (promoter) gave us 4 passes. Gave one to my wife, Alma, and one to Olive, Jesse's wife. The night was long. Met 4 other photographers, Allen, Ron, Ron's wife and their girl friend. Shot more than thousands photos and had access to every part of the Event Center. It was a fun night of shooting. My photos will atest to that.
The door is now open for a new career, thanks to my wife, Alma, Cecile and Alma Guba... looking forward for some up-coming gigs..
